Ingredients

  • 2-4 Potatoes
  • 2 Onions, Finely Diced
  • 3-4 Cloves Garlic, Finely Diced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, Finely Diced
  • 1 Carrot, Finely Diced
  • Green Peas, Whole
  • Green Beans, FInely Diced
  • 1-2 Tomatoes FInely Diced or Diced Tomatoes from a can
  • 1 Half Can Tomato Sauce
  • Chili Powder
  • Paprika
  • 2-3 teaspoons Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 2-3 Cups Water

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes until fully cooked. Drain, and mash potatoes so they are broken and mashed but with chunks. Set aside.
  2. In a large pot, sautee onions in oil until they are very soft, about 10-25 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and saute for a seconds.
  4. Add paprika and chili powder, saute for two seconds.
  5. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and potato, saute for 10 minutes.
  6. Add in vegetables, saute 5 minutes.
  7. Add water a pav bhaji masala. Mix well.
  8. Cover and simmer on low for 3045 minutes until pav bhaji begins to thicken.
  9. Serve with toasted buns.
