Chili-Lime Roasted Almonds

Ingredients
- 3 cups raw almonds
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil melted
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice about 2 limes
- zest from one lime
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 tablespoon 100% pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Then, cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In one bowl, mix the lime juice, coconut oil, maple syrup and lime zest
- In a second bowl, mix the chili powder, salt, and garlic.
- Mix the nuts into the wet ingredients, then toss to coat with the dry.
- Pour onto the covered baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20-30 minutes until golden brown
